Minutes:
Tim Lovett welcomed everyone to the board meeting.
Stan Wilker Updated the board on the Motown event on February 28th. Stan said Motown dance cleared $6200 with around 300 attendees and 8 sponsored tables. Stan said all reports were good and that people enjoyed the band. Stan thanked Jerry lacey and Milt Miller for financially sponsoring the band.
Mark Piening Spoke about the 2015 Membership Drive that starts in April lasting until May 15. Dave said he hopes to have the mailing out on or about April 1. You will receive letter in mail with return envelope, dues are $15. Over 60% of forms that came back had extra donations last year.
Mark Piening talked about the Casino Night that is to be held on March 21st. Tim said the event is at Romers and is being co-sponsored by the Celina Lakefest Committee. Casino night: There will be a 50/50 auction and a DJ on casino night all to help fund the fireworks at Lakefest.
Milt Miller Tim Lovett updated the membership about ground out by airport turn into wetlands with clean Ohio grant for Milt Miller. Milt is out doing fundraising for the wetlands.
Brian Miller gave the Lake Update. Brian said the gate has been opened gate up and he is beginning to re institute draw down. He noted that the lake is 9 inches below last from December which was the target. Brian said due to cold weather he is working with the gate to get the right level. He plans to draw down until March 15th. Brian said that he is moving forward with the splash pad project at the campground for this summer. He explained several other projects slated for the year including the shower house in the campground and adding 20 more full electric hookup sites. Dock fees are due by May 1st and there will not be prorated amount this year. Brian noted that there is still 14-16 inches of ice and hopefully the dredges out April 1st. He also mentioned that April 25 is annual lake clean up.
Dave Eyink drew the winner of the 50/50.
