The State of Ohio is removing toxic algae warning signs from Grand Lake St. Marys. The sign removal is in response to non-detect algae levels in the lake. Microcystin levels have been below the .30 mg/L threshold at the Celina Water Treatment Plant intake all year, similar to levels at Indian Lake and other Ohio waterways.

The Lake Improvement Association applauds the efforts of the many organizations who have collaborated to improve the lake’s water quality. This represents major progress and we look forward to continuing our work toward sustainable and safe water.
