On Friday a teleconference conducted by the Corps, officials pointed out the threats associated with invasive species such as Asian carp, but not necessarily as they relate to the much-talked-about Chicago Area Waterway System.
 
Ohio has four at-risk invasive species pathways — the Mosquito Creek Reservoir/Grand River (rated as being low), Little Killbuck Creek (rated as being moderate/medium) the Ohio-Erie Canal as it applies to Long Lake in Akron (moderate/medium), and Grand Lake St. Marys (rated as being low).
