The inaugural LIA Chili Cook Off was a huge success. Well over 100 tasters came through to sample 13 different chili’s.
The winners were:
- 1st place: David C. Post
- 2nd place: Wes Proteman
- People’s Choice: Mercer Rehabilitative Services
Judges were Mary Rampe, Doug Rentz, Dr. Stephen Jacquemin.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and came out to enjoy the best chili around Grand Lake St. Marys! And, a big thank-you to Brew Nation for allowing the LIA to sponsor the event and for donating proceeds toward lake improvement efforts!
