Grand Lake Furbearers: Muskrats, Beavers & Other Aquatic Mammals (LIA Meeting)

Join us on December 6 to learn about Grand Lake’s furbearers: muskrats, beavers, and other aquatic mammals with ODNR Division of Wildlife Research Technician Neil Baker!
Neil will be discussing Grand Lake’s aquatic furbearers – and even bringing some skulls and furs to enhance the educational experience!
The meeting will also feature lake improvement, water quality, natural resources, and state park updates, plus annual LIA elections.
Doughnuts and coffee will be available as refreshments.

ABOUT NEIL BAKER:
Neil Baker is the Wildlife Research technician for the Ohio Division of Wildlife’s district five. He graduated from Hocking College where he earned degrees in wildlife management and forestry. Neil has worked as an educational naturalist for Miami County Parks, forester for the US Forest Service, and as a technician at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area. In his free time you will find Neil at his parent’s farm in Darke County, taking pictures of bugs and birds.
