Pollution from runoff has had a devastating effect on Grand Lake St. Marys, but the troubles associated with fertilizer and nutrient runoff extend far beyond the Greater Grand Lake Region – all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico, according to a recent article published by the Dayton Daily News.
