Auglaize-Mercer County Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Donna Grube reported that tourism in the Grand Lake St. Marys area has increased by 10 to 12 percent in 2014 in an interview she gave to WCSM Radio.
That figure puts GLSM-area tourism at a higher level than it was before the 2010 algal blooms contributed to a decrease in visitors.
