An increase in membership enhances our resources and our ability to gain the support of state and local legislators. These resources, combined with legislative support, can help make a difference in our efforts to improve best management practices on the land, green space initiatives, recreational activities and the quality of water in Grand Lake St. Marys.
We ask that you take a moment to complete the membership form below and join us in our efforts.
Our annual dues remain the same – $10 for a family or $25 for a business on the lake. As a member, you receive a monthly newsletter of our activities, as well as lending your voice to the issues we bring to our lawmakers who make policies that affect Grand Lake St. Marys. The Ohio DNR has designated Grand Lake St. Marys a distressed watershed. It has been estimated that more than 500,000 people visit Grand Lake St. Marys annually. This adds an estimated $150 million to our local economy, while supporting 2700 jobs. Now, more than ever, your membership is crucial to restoring the health of the Grand Lake watershed. Working in concert with other organizations, we are raising awareness of this issue – locally, statewide, and in Washington DC.
