laundry & Children’s Memories. Bring your Mother’s things to show. Theme: Protect our Family Heritage.
June 24, 2012, Sunday, 1:00 – 4:00, 32nd Annual Prehistoric Artifacts Exhibit. Hosted by Mercer County Indian Relic Collectors,
Mercer Co. Historical Museum. Bring your artifacts.
Theme: Protect our Native American Heritage in Western Ohio.
August The New Idea Equipment Exhibit has been hosted by the New Idea Historic Preservation Committee of the Mercer County
Historical Society every other year. Since the exhibit was held in 2011, there will be no exhibit this year in August 2012. We will
plan to see you in August 2013. NEW IDEA Historic Preservation Committee Meetings 2012: 7:00 P.M. Community Room above
Coldwater Library, 4th Wednesday, March thru October.

by Local Gun Collectors, and Private Citizens.
Theme: Protect our Military Heritage. This 2012 Exhibit highlights War of 1812 Bicentennial History.
November 11, 2012 Sunday, 1:00 – 4:00. 12th Annual Autumn Post Card Exhibit, featuring Post Cards of Grand Lake St. Marys, and
old photographs, posters, memorabilia of G.L.S.M. hosted by local Collectors. Also: Local History Book Sale by Local Authors.
Theme: Protect History of Grand Lake Saint Marys & its landings, restaurants, & events.

Thank you for sending your Membership Dues. The County owned Museum is opened and utilities paid, and Historical Society’s
programs are funded, only through Society Members and public support. The Society receives no funds from the Mercer County
Commissioners.
The Commissioners maintain the grounds and share building maintenance responsibilities.
