LIA Executive Board Meeting

Minutes:
Tim Lovett welcomed everyone to the board meeting.
Ted Bertke gave the treasurers report. Ted said The LIA brought in $16069 for the month.
Mark Piening updated the membership on the membership renewals that recently went out. Mark said the board sent the card to everyone and hopes folks will renew their membership once they get their renewal card. Mark showed the images of the new card and asked that everyone look for more members to help grow the membership.
Mark Piening spoke about a new event coming to the lake. The event is called Summer Kickoff 2015 and will be held on June 20th. Mark said the event includes a 5k run, car show, kids activities, vendors, food, and beer sales. The event will also feature 3 local bands and an art showing. The event is free and will be held at the villa nova shelter house.
Stan Wilker reported on the annual golf outing held at Northmoor on June 27th. Stan said the event is $45 per person, the tournament is an 8am shotgun start. Tim asked the membership to sign up if they want to be a hole sponsor.
Tim Lovett usfba Talked about a cruise around the lake featuring both ends to be held on May 16th from 10-2pm Tim said to meet at at lighthouse and east bank harbor.
Milt Miller gave the LRC update.
Brian Miller gave the Lake Update. He said the lake is 4.5 inches above the notch in the spillway.
Terry Mescher gave the Soil and Water update. Terry said he is planning a bus watershed tour and will have further next month.
Tim Lovett noted The LIA WILL continue to do a cost share program with aeration units. Tim said The LIA will match 20% UP TO $500.
Dave Eyink drew the winner of the 50/50. Milt Miller won and donated it back to the LIA.
