CELINA POLICE CHIEF DAVE SLUSSER IS URGING PEOPLE TO STAY OFF THE ICE ON GRAND LAKE SAINT MARYS NOW THAT RAIN HAS FALLEN AND TEMPERATURES HAVE BEEN WARMER RECENTLY.

IN THE PAST, OFFICIALS AT GRAND LAKE SAINT MARYS STATE PARK HAVE STATED THAT IT IS NEVER COMPLETELY SAFE TO VENTURE ONTO THE ICE DUE TO THE CURRENT THAT RUNS UNDER THE ICE. PEOPLE ARE ADVISED TO BE VERY CAUTIOUS EVEN DURING FRIGID WEATHER
