The Ohio EPA has lifted the toxin advisory for Grand Lake St. Marys.

Microcystin samples taken October 25 at Camp, West and East beaches had levels ranging from 2.1 to 8.1 parts per billion (ppb), with Camp Beach the highest. Samples from October 18 and 25 for saxitoxin, cylindrospermopsin and anatoxin-a have all been nondetect. Algal blooms generally are not as prevalent when temperatures drop.
