Jesse Parete, President of the North Point Condo Association, thanked the Lake Improvement Association for supplementing the cost of installing linear channel aeration at the St. Marys Boat Club channel on Grand Lake St. Marys as part of the LIA Channel Aeration Cost Share Program at the July 2013 LIA Member Meeting. Parete noted that the boat club marina had been in poor condition, but he has seen improvement since the installation of the system. He said that for the first time in three years, he could see six inches down into the water, and that fish are coming back in numbers. He is optimistic about the boat club marina channel.
