Update on the proposed changes to the manure ban in the Grand Lake St. Marys watershed:
– ODA is in the early stakeholder outreach window; your emails and phone calls have been heard, and ODA is aware of the Lake Improvement Association’s position
Next steps:
— ODA will submit a draft of the rules to CSI (Common Sense Initiative)
— ODA will then submit a draft of the rules to JCARR (Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review)
Both CSI and JCARR will have a public comment period.
We have requested a timeline for the process moving forward.
