Have You Ever Considered Leaving A Legacy?
Grand Lake St. Marys State Park Could Use Your Help!
The Emerald Ash Borer has impacted the Park, requiring the removal of hundreds of trees. To continue to provide a safe recreational area the decision was made to remove the remainder of the ash as well as other recognized hazardous trees over the 2012/2013 winter.
The State Park and Lake Improvement Association are inviting you to be a part of leaving a legacy behind by making a tax-deductible donation towards replacing the lost trees. There will be two annual plantings, one in the spring and another in the fall. Through this program a diverse species of trees will be planted so the impact will hopefully not be as large if and when the next disease or invasive species passes through the area.
