Milt Miller, Fund Raising Chairman of the Grand Lake St. Marys Restoration Commission, is shown accepting a check for $6,000 from Donna Temple, owner of Sunny Side Inn. Sunny Side Inn held a Carp Races on May 14, 2011 with the proceeds going to the Grand Lake Restoration Commission.

Everyone attending the carp races featuring door prizes, 50/50 drawing, auction and pari-mutual betting, had a great time at the same time supporting the work of Grand Lake St. Marys Restoration Commission.
The money from the races will be used to help finance the Eight Critical Action Priorities from The Grand Lake St. Marys Restoration Strategic Plan: Alum Treatment, Dredging Sediments, Beneficial use of Organic Waste, Treatment Train Establishment, Aeration and Circulation, Wetland Creations, Rough Fish Removal and Water Level Management.
